We did a spring trip to Vegas in May for my birthday and some pool time.6 of us went. I flew both ways,Brandon flew in and the other people drove from Wyoming. We stayed at Terribles Hotel and Casino. They have great rates and a really nice pool /jacuzzi area. They've made several changes that we were not crazy about. No desks in the room for working on business stuff, and no coffee makers. We asked to have rooms close together, but they spread us out. There were several issues with the rooms and the cleanig staff. They did comp me a breakfast buffet for one of my issues and did apply my gaming points to my bill. They are going to have to really step it up if they want out business again. We hit several casinos that we hadn't been to,including the Palms. We had a wonderful dinner at Casa De Amore.TJ got us free admission to the Bar at Times Square and a free round of drinks on my birthday. I also had a great morning at the Peppermill with bloddy mary's and a cuban cigar. We found a new Irish Pub,Ri Ra, at the shops at Mandalay Bay.Very nice European pub.As alaways we had to have pints at Three Fine Irishmen.Several of us did pretty good while gaming.I actually came home ahead in money for a change.Brandon and I had to go have our traditional lemon drop martini's at the Hard Rock on the strip.Spent a couple of hours at the Hoffbrau House with our bartender friend Joey. After everyone left for the drive back I had time to kill before my flight, so I walked over to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Did good on the slots and had lunch at the Pink Taco. I got to spend lots of time at the pool, which was a nice change from our December trips.Overall a great birthday with great friends.

In Feb. we took a group trip to Blackhawk to celebrate TJ's and Brandon's birthdays.Dennis and Geri Nalder joined us from Cheyenne.I rented a small car and got up there before everyone else to attend a private Facebook party at the Lodge Casino. There was food, pictures, and prizes.I won a free buffet. The Loge has one of the best buffets in Blackhawk. We all stayed at the Ameristar Hotel and Casino. The rooms are wonderful with spectacular views. The rooftop pool and jacuzzis are a fantasic way to start or finish your day.The drinks a very reasonably priced throughout the casino. We visited several different casinos while there, and checked out the new Reserve Casino in Cental City on our way out of town.Very Nice!Had a great time overall.

Saturday went really well for the Randy Run. The weather was clear and hot. We had a little breeze wich caused us to tie down the canopys.A couple of them tried to take flight. The bike rodeo was a big hit.The auctions raised a lot of money for the fallen biker fund, as well as the 50/50 and door prize ticket sales. Thanks to Mitchell for letting ABATE hold the event there. There was a grill on the patio. They sold a bunch of cheese sausages and giant hot dogs. The patio bar was selling mojitos that were wonderful.I bought a great comforter made from old jeans and leathers donated by ABATE members. Thanks again to the ABATE members who showed up to help with setting up,the bike rodeo, registrations, and the auctions. A big thank you to the Frontier Club for hosting the event! Off to Cheyenne this weekend for the Wyoming Brewers Festival. Dennis/CIO BlackHat Enterprises Inc.

Well, got the preliminary stuff done on the website. Working from the deck is mostly better than working in the office but a little more distracting. Currently working up new events, checking everyone's schedules and getting the client pages updated as well as a bunch of new links. We've also added a link to our Facebook page and our Twitter account. And we've been asked to write a travel blog so that's another pending project. New corporate photos scheduled for this weekend if nothing else comes up. Looking forward to seeing all of our friends who come to town for CFD. And we'll be busy as usual. Look us up if you're in town and we'll get together. Don't forget to check the links!

Got a chance to ride yesterday, even though it was on the back of a trike. Nine of us on seven bikes road out to Lulu's for a beer or two, then back on two lane back roads to the Frontier. It was a great ride, although a little cold.Had a great dinner and great company at Carraba's Itailian Grill. Off to the Frontier this morning for the monthly ABATE meeting.

Off to the Frontier to meet friends, then off to Lulu's. They are on bikes, I'm in the Bronco. Oh well, beautiful day anyway. Dinner tonight with a lovely lady.

It's the day before the first day of spring, and I have spring fever in a big way. It's supposed to be in the 70's today. Just dropped my tax stuff off. Now I need to go find a bar with a patio to enjoy a cocktail and cigar. I may go meet up with a lovely blonde later this evening for dinner and drinks. We'll see what the day brings. I need to load the camera for some shots of the "super" moon tonight. Happy Saturday!
